I am one of those mothers who embarked on the journey of parenthood at a very young age. Now, at the age of 27, I find myself the proud mother of three incredible children. My story is one of transformation and growth, and it all started after I graduated from university with a degree in marketing management. I gained valuable experience working as a marketing manager in the trade and service industry.

However, it was after the birth of my third child that my life took a unique turn. I noticed a pattern in my children's behavior – they often sought help from adults for tasks they could easily handle themselves with the right environment. It was a moment of realization for me. My own father, a skilled carpenter, became their go-to person for help in crafting wooden furniture.

This spark of self-sufficiency in my children led me to take action. I decided to share this experience with other mothers, and I did so by opening a simple Facebook page and making a post. To my astonishment, on the very first day, I received over 1000 hits, and I even received my first order without setting a price. That moment marked the beginning of our incredible journey.

My three children, alongside their talented father, the carpenter, and his skilled assistant, became a team that was ready to take on the world. With each order, we learned, adapted, and improved our products based on valuable customer feedback. Today, Buudai Brand stands strong, collaborating with artisan mothers who create Montessori eco-furniture and wooden toys, as well as those who craft and sell felt products, woven baskets, woolen items, and calligraphy materials.

Our mission is clear – we aim to educate children through their environment and foster self-reliance. We work in partnership with experienced and skilled mothers who specialize in knitting and handcrafting, all from the comfort of their own homes. Our products are not just eco-friendly; they are a testament to our commitment to sustainability, crafted with natural wood, eco oils, and paints. We take pride in creating zero waste, even going as far as making our furniture delivery boxes reusable.

Of course, the journey hasn't been without its challenges. The manufacturing landscape in Mongolia presents its unique set of obstacles, from instilling our brand values in our employees to ensuring the safety of our factory and constantly innovating to bring new products to the market.

In running this small business, I've learned three invaluable lessons:

  1. To establish a trusted and long-lasting brand, let experts handle crucial tasks. We collaborate with companies that manage storage, delivery, and assembly, and we seek advice from seasoned individuals to ensure our quality remains uncompromised.
  2. Expect the cost of materials to fluctuate. Over the year since we started, material prices have almost doubled, making our products more expensive. Balancing price increases without harming our brand's reputation has been a delicate dance, and in hindsight, stocking up on materials early would have been wise.
  3. As your business grows, shift from a startup mindset to a more established way of doing things. Investing in a display store was a pivotal move, making it easier for customers to interact with our products.

Every customer who chooses us is a treasured part of our journey. With the CallPro service Startup package, our customers' calls go straight to the store and the delivery team, ensuring we address every inquiry, even if we're busy.

Our wooden toys are designed to create lasting memories, coming in separate packages so parents can enjoy painting them together with their children. We aim to be a part of the cherished moments shared between parents and kids as they grow, making Buudai a part of those special memories.

As a young mother, I see my work as a way to positively impact a child's upbringing. It's about leaving a lasting impression rather than just running a business. Our own children serve as our product testers, ensuring that every idea comes straight from a mother's heart.

We make sure every member of our team understands that our wooden products not only look beautiful in children's rooms but also contribute positively to their development. We provide our employees with training on promoting the product and conducting a photoshoot, as well as emphasizing the importance of customer satisfaction.

Profit is crucial, but it's equally essential for every team member to understand our primary goal. Pure wood may have its quirks and challenges, but as a budding brand, satisfying each and every customer is paramount.

Allow me to share some principles I hold dear when communicating with people:

  1. Be straightforward and honest in your conversations. Clear communication, honest explanations, and addressing concerns are essential in every interaction.
  2. Recognize your areas of uncertainty and value the expertise of those around you. Working with individuals who have specific skills is efficient, and teaching your own strengths is a valuable contribution you can offer.

Our journey at Buudai Brand is a testament to the power of collaboration, innovation, and the unwavering belief in the potential for positive change in children's lives. We are excited about the future and are grateful for the incredible support from our customers, partners, and our ever-growing Buudai family. Thank you for joining us on this remarkable journey!
